What is this?
I got an 1988 camaro RS V6 i was looking around seeing what was loose under the hood and i found this.
It connects from the back of the air intake splits into two. one heading to the break booster and the other leading to this host that broke off.
it got cocked together and i dont know what calve it connects too.
I just need to know what it is so i can replace it.
The valve is covering in cocking.

And this is what broke off of it.

Take a real good look at the valve in vetteoz's picture, and the first one of your's, and you will see that it looks like the tapered end of the valve is inserted into the brake booster hose!! It sure looks like someone broke it, and didn't want to replace it, so they just hooked it up "wrong" as best as they could!!
