cam question

Hi all, I have a question about cam sizes. I have a 1991 Z28 and it has the "F" code 305 TPI engine and its a 5 speed if it makes a difference. I was wondering what the stock cam dimensions are (lift, duration, Etc.) and what type of cam it is? I want some options of upgrades if anyone knows any. It has a flowmaster exhaust, adjustable AFPR, and k&n filters. However if I upgrade the cam it will be after a full stock rebuild of the engine and the cats will be gone along with the stock exhaust manifolds. I just want sumthing to make a little more power and maybe a little nicer sounding idle. What kinda lift can I get near before my computer throws a fit or it wont run right?? I want sumthin a little bigger than stock. Any suggestionss???

Re: cam question

Most friends of mine with tpi motors usually run a stock lt1 cam with 1.6rr and usually have no problem. Doesnt really lop but def gives an improvement upon power.
