Aluminum head weight savings..

HI, I am going to put afr aluminum 195 1040'son my l98. Just curious if anyone has info on the weight difference between stock heads and aluminum replacemets. Thanks

AFRs are heavy for aluminum heads, but you'll still save right at or just shy of 40 lbs if that's all you change.

What do you think adding an aluminum radiator and valve covers(I know it is minimal) would save?

The stock radiator was already aluminum, with plastic caps. Its very light. The valve covers you may gain weight, the stock ones are thin sheetmetal and dont weigh much.

I agree with the 40lb reduction estimate. Headers will knock off a few pounds as well...
