i have a 305 carbed motor and i was wonderin how can i get high rpms out of this motor with good reilabilty
i was thinkin in the 7500 to 8k is that posible

 

Not on stock valvetrain or bottom end. Basically you need to have the entire motor rebuilt and machined VERY GOOD if your planning on revving a motor that high.

Is this a street motor? If it is then there is no need to rev it that high. Most of the time motors that rev high like that are full out drag racing motors.
