Back from the dead wont start

Ok, so I kept driving by this 1990 Iroc 5.7 for two years left notes on the windshied and the lady called back and we struck a deal.
She stated the car had sat for at least 4 years and it had ran fine when she parked it.
so i droped the fuel tank replaced the pump and sending unit flushed the lines changed the fuel filter and all other fluids by the way.
So here comes the tough part the fuel system comes on pressures up the rail and wont start but will fire up and run for a min. with starting fluid.
So i use the test light and check the injector lead 12v to pink side and the green has a very slite pulse when cranked over so i pulled the injectors and had them tested (all bad) so i repaced them 300 bucks damm. Put it back togeather and still wont start.
When I turn the key on the Vats lite comes on for about 3 sec then goes off and car will crank over but no fuel. can the ECM be tested ? does the Hall sec in the dis, tell the injectors not to fire? dont know where to start please help.

Re: Back from the dead wont start

your vats system might be to blame, it cuts fuel, look into the resistor bypass, very easy, like a 2$ job lol check into it,
