I know that the light means INFLATABLE RESTRAINT for the air bag, but I have some questions.

Ok so when I start the car the light is automatically turned on. Sometimes the light will blink 6 times which from what I've heard that means that the system is going through a diagnostic mode but the light always stays on.

Then sometimes it will just go off all of a sudden and not blink at all.

Even less often than that sometimes when I turn the car on the light wont come on.

Then even less often than that the light will blink constantly, like it only ever did this once or twice.

I don't know, its weird, I'm just curious about it and the system.
