Hello i dont know where to put this but i will put it here. I have an 84 Z28 and i want to take the AC out of it to make more room to work. i want to know what i can take out without F****** something up. i got pics and u can tell me if i can take these out. And also the chrome thing over by the passenger side.

 

i believe u can take the whole ac out like the hoses compressor and all that stuff.

 

So that wont hurt anything cause i still wanted to keep my heater

 

no it should not hurt anything thats exactly what i did took out all the ac stuff and kept the heater..

ok i got the pump, and the compresser out now the only prob is the two tubes that went to the compresser one went to the chrome thing and one went to the radiator can i remove the one from the radiator and not get s*** everywhere.

 

That Black cylindrical thing, opposite your battery, is not A/C related, and should stay in your car. It is a 'charcoal canister' if you remove it, you can have a raw gas smell all the time.

 

Is there anyway to take the smell away without putting it back in???

 

Here are the hoses i had a prob wit. How can i get this off and also will anything leak anywhere

 

pull ur radiator off and there is like a mini radiator behind it just pull it out and there u go.
