Timing Marks on TPI engine

hey guys
So Im not really fimilar with these engines, just trying to time up an engine to 10 degrees BTDC to run an aftermarket ecu.

its a 5.7 TPI
Looking at the marks, I asssume the Big V is TDC, so what size steps are the others?

My sweet ms paint drawing

Any help would be most awsome

Allan

Re: Timing Marks on TPI engine

You are correct. The big V is 0 or TDC. To the left of that in your drawing (or towards the passenger side) is B.T.D.C. This is where you will want to be. Each notch is an additional 4 degrees.
