valve springs
might be a stupid question but i am at a loss. i need to get valve springs that will have atleast .550 lift and all i can find is the lbs./in. Rate and i dont know what that means. is there anyway that i can tell what i need to get? i have no clue what i need to get so any help would be appreciated, thanks Ty.

Max lift is the difference between the solid height and the installed height. There's a lot more to choosing a valve spring than just the max lift figure.

i know that there is just more then the lift just the only thing that has me stuck right now is getting the right lift, thanks though

I dont really know right off how to tell, but I am using lt4 springs for a 5.25 lift cam and they work just fine but they came in the kit with cam. I would search thru google and get the answer.
