hey guys. i have had a 1991 firebird v6 auto since 2006. its been sitting for about 7 months. iv been tring to start it for 2 days now and its only started once.. and when it did start it would run and idle all by itself. now the only way to turn the motor over is underneath the car by the starter, can i fix this? anything i can put in the gas to make it better? how do i get my spark plugs out, my socket wont fit? what are common things to check? any tips? thanks in advance for any help

 

Yes..Purchase a starter
use a 5/8 spark plug socket.. with the 3/4 hex end you can use a ratchet or a 3/4 wrench.. Lucas injector cleaner

 

the starter has less than a year on it.. maybe it was a junk company or something. im a noob, how to i clean the injectors? just spray the cleaner inside them? i know that sounds wickked dumb but im new haha

 

u fill ur gas tank up and put the cleaner in ur gas tank and that cleans the injectoros
