Clearcoat on engine?

I have used Nason clearcoat over spray bomb paint before with excellent results. I want to use it on my engine, but I'm not sure it will hold up to the heat.
Anybody here use automotive grade paint or clearcoat on their engine without it pealing due to heat?

I sure would like to also, but I wouldn't think it would hold up.

Re: Clearcoat on engine?

they make high temp clearcoat, I used it on my motor, I even spray it directly over aluminum parts to keep them from getting dirty and oil stained.
