my turn signal wont shut off!! help

1992 camaro rs with 3.1 v-6 turn signal indicator on the dash stays on all the time and signal dont work. changed bulb in side marker light and still dont work changed bulb in tail light and still not work the right side of the car works fine.. can anyone help with this problem?????

There is a relay that probably went bad. I haven't had this problem on my 84 myself, but on my 67 it's under the dash. I am pretty sure you have a relay (silver square or round) in your fuse box. If it's not the relay, it could be the switch itself which is located in the column connected to the lever. There might be someone here with more knowldege of how it's set up but this should give you some idea on where to start.

thanks i will check the relay, but if the relay was bad then why does passenger side still work? i will check it out anyways and the switch also thanks again

You have a point about the other side still working. It's possible that you have a loose wire on your light socket that's acting as if the bulb is burned out. I'd check out your sockets and wiring first, followed by checking the switch in the column itself.
