I have a brand new battery and changed the fuel filter but it still won't start. When I spray starting fluid on the carb it starts up for 2 secs then shuts off even if I press the gas it still ***** off. It's a 1990 rs camaro with a 5.0 305 any help is appreciated

 

can you hear your pump come on?

 

Were can I hear it at?

 

in the gas tank. when you turn the key on you should hear a buzz for a short time, its your fuel pump building pressure.

 

Ok I'll check that out also weres the fuel pump relay I was told to check and see if it's plugged in or something

 

you might also want to make sure your geting the right gas psi
