Silicone couplers vs O2 sensor

Quick question for the experts...

Silicone sealers can wreck O2 sensors...that's pretty common knowledge. But can using silicone couplers (connecting a throttle body and cold-air pipe, for instance) cause similar damage to an O2 sensor? Any help is appreciated!
