How to stop leak for windshield washer fluid

Hey gang - seems easy enough but can't figure it out. I connected all new hoses from the Windshield washer resevoir to the wiper blades (new hoses, new 'T' connectors, everything. When i activate the washer motor, fluid comes out great. But when I turn OFF the motor, fluid CONTINUES to drain out of the hoses. It doesn't go back into the tank. I've run the hose along the same route as the old one, and have tried dramatically lifting it up to see if that'll help. But no matter what I do, fluid continues to drain out. What am I doing wrong here? How can I get the flow to STOP when the motor is turned off?

THANKS GANG!

Re: How to stop leak for windshield washer fluid

Hey Jeep - yeah, I thought of that. But two things are making me think twice: a) the old connectors didn't seem to have any kind of check valves in them (I could see clear through each one), and b) Doesn't a check valve stop it from flowing in the OPPOSITE direction? See my problem is that the fluid keeps draining in the same direction...out of the hose sprayers. A siphon is being created when I activate the motor and I can't stop the flow of the fluid. It just keeps coming out as if the motor is continuing to run (even though it isn't)

Anyone? This is really bugging me. Does anyone have any solutions or links where I could purchase a one-way selenoid of this size that only opens when power or force is applied? Really hoping someone can help
