Engine: 350 tpi
Transmission: 700

New Engine Thoughts
My 1989 Formula 350 engine is about to be toast. I can purchase a L31 vortec engine outof a 99 Suburban that the bottom end needs a little work for a couple hundred bucks.
I also can purchase a vortec/tpi intake and a ZZ4 cam.
My questions are if I will need to get the 062 cast heads worked on to work with the ZZ4 cam or would I be better off keeping them as is and reusing my L98 cam?
Also with my setup being a MAF car would I need a prom change with the change of a cam? Would the present prom be fine with just the vortec heads?
Forgot to point out I plan on keeping the TPI in all scenarios.
