intermitent idle/rev problem 91 Z
i have a 91 Z28, 350 TPI with the G92 RPO. it is all stock with only 30,000 miles.
the problem i am having is after i have driven the car for a little while and it is all up to temp if i shut it off to say, go into a store to get smokes or whatever, when i start it up it runs almost like it is in choke, it will idle very low to the point it will kill at a stoplight, it has a very bad hesitation and the exhaust smells like unburnt gas. whenever it does this all i have to do is just shut it off and re-start it and everything is fine. this happens mabye 1 out of 20 times and re-starting alwase fixes it.
it never goes into this "choke mode" (as i call it) while i am driving, only after i shut it off when it is at operating temp, which is like 180-200 on the temp gauge. i never get a SES light
it has been doing this since i got it about 5 or 6 years ago. and i have run into other 3rd gen owners who have this same problem and no one so far can figure it out
any help would be great!

Re: intermitent idle/rev problem 91 Z
If I remember right, i read on another post that its the injectors. Have you checked them with an ohm meter? I have the same problem with my B4C I just picked up. Mine does it after its warmed up. I havent checked mine out yet, but have been looking into new injectors since I read it. If I find that thread I'll post a link to it...good luck!
