350 late model
I have a 350 came out of a 1988 suburban tpi set up and im putting my q jet on it from my H.O 305 with this intake http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PFS-52001/?rtype=7
Also im wondering if i should leave the truck cam in it or go with another cam or not? The reason i ask is i want a little more power then i had with the 305. i dont know how big the lift is in the stock 305 H.o engine but here is a cam with a 400+ lift i would like to know what th estock lift is so i can get somewhere around that and duration but here is a link http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-2102/

Slow down. First, pop a valve cover, and give us the casting number of the 350 heads. Can't pick a cam until you do. And if the valve covers are center bolt, rather than perimeter bolt, then you've got your eye on the wrong intake manifold.
Get the casting number, then we can make some helpful comments.

Actually, that Cyclone intake will work on both '86-earlier and '87-later bolt patterns.

Suburbans and Tahoes didn't get TPI from the factory. If it had TPI in one of those chassis, someone put it in there.
But, those heads were used on Vette TPI engines. If that's what the engine is, I wouldn't downgrade to a flat tappet cam. In fact, if all you want is a little more power than your 305 had, you'll meet that goal by just putting the engine under your carb.
