car running rough after intake install

Ive installed a new intake on my car. Ive been tracking down a vacuum leak for a while and decided it must be coming from the bottom due to the intake being machined at some point. My uncle help tune the car to make it run decent and drop the idle to 700 despite the low 8 vacuum. Now the intake is on, the car will barely run despite timing or idle mixture screw adjustments. Any ideas? Ill check this in the morning and try some new things and suggestions i may have.
