Oil leak

I have a 305 engine in my 83 Z-28.Last summer, I replaced my valve cover gaskets with new ones.Lately I am starting to smell burnt oil coming from my valve cover again.I check all the bolts that hold it down, and they are all tight.Valve covers going bad that fast?

Re: Oil leak

Id check and make sure the valve covers are not warped and if you used cork gaskets they dont tend to last long rubber coated ones seal up pretty good
