Car Dying, Then no start

Ok, I have a 89 Firebird Formula 305 tbi. I have been doing some work to get it running. I replaced the fuel pump and a little work on the starter. I finaly got the car running. Took it out for a drive... drove great for about 15 min. then i was coming to a stop it died.. so i re-started it and it drove great... until i came to a stop agian, this time it did not start. sprayed some starting fluid in the tbi and it fired so i figured it was a fuel problem. towed it home and started working on it. Ends up i have no power to the injectors.. i have power to the fuze for the injectors. I also checked the spark... no spark. I dont have power to the coil either. All the other electronics work... the fuel pump engages and all interior lights work. Is this a computer problem? VATS? Or something else?

Re: Car Dying, Then no start

try pulling the ignition module, take it and have it tested at auto zone , advanced auto etc the icm (ignition control module is what controls injectors fireing, try that and try disconecting fuel line to tbi , the larger line on the left of the tbi 3/8" and see if youve got fuel get a fuel guage and check for pressure tbis need 10 to 13 lbs to run ,rent a fp guage at autozone when you go to get the module tested ,make shure they test the module 3e or 4 times ( just to try to replicate heat conditions) after that check your pick up coil in the distributor this will also give a no start condition , should have 800 to 1200 ohms , give that a shot post back
