removing oxidation/corrosion?

I have a TBI injector "cradle" that needs to go in, there is oxidation on it, I cleaned the outsides, but how to clean out the inner fuel passages? To get the corrosion out. Any sprays? these are made of Aluminum aren't they?

this is the part that fuel lines connect to. Both injectors sit in this piece. The fuel meter sits on top

Use a magnet to see if it's aluminum. Aluminum doesn't rust, it just corrodes, but it won't hurt anything.
I don't mess with TBI, so I can't tell you what material it is.

You can soak it in a phosphoric acid wash to get the rust of the tube, but why would there be rust inside a fuel line?

Re: removing oxidation/corrosion?

I found something that makes aluminum look like it just came out of the mold.

acid wheel cleaner. I put it on everything that has that white scale on it and it took it all off. but you need to be able to wash it off with water.

a water soaked rag would also work.
but it makes aluminum look fantastic. especially the A/C hoses etc. they look really bright and brand new.
