Problem keeping my car running...HELP

I have 87 Camaro and seems to run great...but for one problem, after letting idle and warm up for few minutes, I put it in gear and try to accelerate..after doing so, she wants to die if I don't give it enough gas at once when it starts moving(by the way, it's an automatic so not my faulty driving lol)..does she need to warm up more? is something wrong? what could it be?

I would start with checking your timing with a timing light and pulling the plugs and cleaning/replacing them as necessary. Is the carb the OEM unit?

Re: Problem keeping my car running...HELP

I'm pretty sure that the carb has been replaced, but I don't know if that's the problem..is there any other signs that the carb could cause it? for one, about a week ago I tried to start it after running it..she would only start for few seconds and idle really low and didn't sound right at all..somebody said the carb was sticking and to open it up on way home..but I let it sit, and once I got back to car she cranked right up with no problem..is there explanation for this?
