I have recently set my sights on a 1982 Pace Car Z28 with the Lu5 cross fire injected 305/th350. I am buying this car for pure nostalgic purposes and I am going to KEEP the cross fire.... (albeit modified). I dont want to hear the "put a carb on it" BS because I think that would ultimately devastate the value and it IS valuable. I have heard of the cross fire vault website but there seems to be an issue with it. I registered a few days ago with the name 82PacecarZ with no access.... today I tried with eighty2PCZ and I am unable to get into the forums so... who is admin and why is this a problem? I am simply trying to get some facts about cross fire and determine what I can do for it. I have read a lot of posts about the usual bolt ons for it but I would like more of a cross fire owners results/experiences. I want to know things like best PCM, who to get in touch with for porting stock Xrams, how the offy worked out, what injectors, tuning programs/software, cams that are known to work really well (I know of the compu cams), etc. I think this car is a nice one and it's GOING in the driveway...thanks!!
