Hi guys first time poster..long time lurker...i was doing some searching and didnt find anything that helped with my problem...ok my starter has some problems...it takes a few clicks for the starter motor to engage(just been happening recently) and when the starter motor does engage it make a clicking or grinding noise while the engine is turning over(the noise a starter makes when the battery is low) my battery is new. And was wondering if anyone would now what the problem would be oh BTW i have a 1992 Camaro RS 305 TBI manual trans . thanks in advance guys

 

if your battery is good ;that is usually a sign the contacts in the starter solenoid are worn and not making a good connection when the solenoid throws out
