Crane Valve Spring kit
Hey guys! I'm building a mild LT1 for my 87' Formula and after installing a cc503 cam, I'm now onto the springs. I've been looking at this Crane 10308-1 kit and the price is good, but as I read more about the kit, it seems like the shims that are included are questionable because they don't prevent the springs from walking around. After a good bit of reading, it seems that there's people that have had problems with it, and just as many who have no problems at all. So, anyone have any insight on this kit? If I still can't get any solid answers before too long, I'm probably just gonna get the 918 beehives like most others are running. Just thought I'd see about this kit first because it's cheaper, yet everyone says the springs are good, just can't commit to em while thinking about the shims. Thanks for any help!

Re: Crane Valve Spring kit
I'm running 10308s and I installed OD cups. I bought springs, cups and an assortment shim kit from Summit back in 2007. Sorry, I don't have the part number for the cups or the shim kit.
