so what are the best heads i can pull another camaro for our 305s my 305 is not very old since last owner purchased a long block after blowing old one up

I've read a lot about Vortec heads being the best choice followed by a set of 081's.

Agreed with the above. A good set of ported Vortecs will boost you into the 350+ power range with about the same amount of TQ on a 305.

I think engine quest offers a vortec head in a standard bolt pattern for your intake, that way you dont have to buy a vortec TBI intake, BUT a better intake is recommended. Also, make sure the engine quest castings are the better performance versions for more lift. People often want the 062 or 906 castings because they flow the best. Some want the 059 305 Vortecs which I have heard can be massaged to flow very well. Just keep in mind tuning and a few other TBI goodies will be required after the swap to get maximum results, but ill let the TBI guys tell you whats best... Later.
