Discoloration between intake runners?
Yesterday went to the dyno. Did 340RWTQ @ 3200 RPM or so, 291 RWHP @ 5200 RPM. I think I have a vacuum leak since they couldn't get the carb to run correctly even after swapping jets (96s), squirters (37s), etc. Then I blew coolant all over the place out of the water jacket by the #1 intake runner. I torn it apart this morning for new intake gaskets and noticed the right and left runners aren't showing the same coloring. It looks like the #1, #3, #5, #7 are all super clean like brand new out of the box. Could a water leak be causing this or do I have bigger concerns?

That is wierd but those numbers seem really low for a motor like that.
