need a new intake manifold anybody know if the v6 third gen manifolds are all same
im going to junkyard now to picc up an intake manifold for a 88 2.8 sport coupe does anybody know if the intake from any thirdgen v6 will fit my 88 2.8

I think the 2.8 and 3.1 RWD version of the engine interchange. When you get into later versions of the engine family like the 3100 and 3400 (even the RWD versions of the engines) they won't.

Means basically yes, the 3rd Gen Camaro/Firebird versions of the 2.8 and 3.1 intake manifolds should interchange.

went to junkyard they got interchange list there THATS F***ING AWESOME
85-89 2.8 WILL FIT

ya but do you know if this part is un-screwble from the manifold
i broke something off in the new one and i was going to switch the one in that picture to the place of the one in this picture
