No. First, LG4 heads weren't swirl-port, they flowed pretty decent.
Second, most LG4s didn't have roller lifters. You don't have to keep them, but there's no valid reason to switch.
Just get an LT1 cam. If you can't find a good used one, the GM part number is 12551142. That's a good match for swapping to 081 heads.
If you want more low-rpm torque, then keep your stock heads and get the RamJet 350 cam. 14097395.

Ok my lo3 has tbi and and the last guy put aftermarket engine in I assume its making the stock 170hp why did the lg4 make only 155hp. I easily outpulled a v8 sport sport coupe at the racetrack but my low end grunt was what did it. Tbi is stupid it flows fine but if you give it full throttle it bogs but if you ease onto throtle while speeding up it works fine so dumb on swirly sports.
The reason im asking is because we have two giant local car junkyards here wich wrecked cars that barely have any damage and a camaro one 1 hour away full of old f bodys and third I am getting a couple bonus checks and want to make atleast 200 something horsepower for cheap.
