Re: Heads cam question

still too vague, too many ways to go. keep it TPI, or go HSR? does the budget permit AFR 180 heads, or if not, are you up to porting Vortecs? If not, what is the budget for heads?
Picking a cam depends on your answers to which heads and which style of intake.

Re: Heads cam question

I think I can get you really close. I propose this: start with these heads: http://www.competitionproducts.com/R...fo/RHS12410K1/ then this cam: COMP 08-000-8, 3015/3037-114, and the Holley Stealth Ram Vortec intake manifold.

Re: Heads cam question

It'll get you to your goal, for close to the $ you typed. I gave you the part number, the 000 in the middle indicates a custom grind. then the 4 digit intake lobe number, then the 4 digit exhaust lobe number. each different lobe has a different 4 digit number to identify it. the 114 is the lobe separation angle. The lift comes out to 0.537/0.536" with 1.5:1 rockers, which is what you should use with this combo.
