Re: lt1 for drift

anything can drift, its all in the driver and expirence. people think u have to hold it in high rpm all day long.. na its all in the use of ur brake, gas and steering. gears and lsd have a play in it to.

a stock lt 1 is a good place to start, good hp/tq main deal is it a 6 speed? what r the specs of the car?? i drift with a t5/semi built carbed 350. and i do good, most of my luck is because how i sat up the car.

Re: lt1 for drift

Stock VS stock, an LT1 is a better built engine than any of the Gen 1 small blocks.

Re: lt1 for drift

the benefit of lt over the generation one is that it's lighter...more power....and overall efficency...so yes you can use the lt to drift as long as you have all the other mods done specificallly for driting..."upgrade the suspension, springs, torque arm, get frame connectors" also don't forget if you are going to drift there are specific upragdes for brakes but i am not too familar with that...
