I'd wager about 250-275 BHP with an RV cam and those heads... you could do better, but not a bad upgrade if you're on a budged and that's what is available at a reasonable price

Re: How much HP would this make????

Personally think thats WAY too much stall for the cam. Thinking like 1500-2000 is all that'll be needed if that much.

230hp and lose the high stall. Way too much for that combo.

Re: How much HP would this make????

The stall of that converter is way too high.
When you say RV cam do you mean the generic 204/214 cam? Are you committed to running that cam? You would do better with a slightly more aggressive cam designed for fuel injection. Since you are using the 2101 manifold I would assume they are early 305 heads and not the swirl port type. What type are they?

Not much w/ those heads, save up for something that breathes better, it'll be worth it...

Be careful with 305 heads on a 350. The 58cc chambers will send CR to 11:1 with flat top pistons. To high for pump gas. So you need to use dish pistons. Aim for 9.5:1 on cast heads 10:1 on aluminum. Port the heads, go bigger on the cam and you could make 325hp. You may want to switch to the Performer RPM intake though if you want horsepower.

No you can make 11:1 work you just have to run octane booster in the summer, that is if you have a good chamber design. Like my 49cc darts. You need to unshroud the valves back to the 350 gasket line or just short there of, switch up to 1.94/1.50 (min.) valves clean the sharp corners off the chamber on the plug side after unshrouding the valves, chamber volume should be 62-64 depending on valve job, and how many it's had. Then you can run flat tops no problem. The rest of the combo is still all wrong though.

Re: How much HP would this make????

don't bother unless you are going to do the whole engine from front to back....you are better off throwing a 100 shot on a STOCK MOTOR.... cheap and if you do the research it is quite reliable>> just a thought.. thats alot of money for not alot of gain.. sounds like you are having fun and that is what counts

Re: How much HP would this make????

ya thats really the truth of it. I have a complete head shop in my garage so I could set up those heads for me in about 3 hours to just be killer, but for the regular car nut 305 heads are usually used for door stops, and wheel chauks
