Re: smog removal

If it's serpentine belt system, https://www.thirdgen.org/serpentine
If V-belt, same thing - just remove the belt for the smog and ignore the new belt rerouting

Re: smog removal

There's a small tube comes off each manifold, there is a check valve at the top where they all meet on each side - remove the check valve and use a standard NPT cap from Lowes/Home Depot to cat it off.

There's a small tube from the cat up to the pass side - I cut mine off at the cat, crimped the end shut, and welded it sealed with the old propane torch and coat hanger style welding (torch melts coat hanger wire like solder).

The AIR pump has 2 bolts in the back that hold the plastic square valve (this piece looks like Princess Leah's head) to it.

That's about it.

seems pretty simple...also i have no cat on my car so i wonder if that tube is still there? i have original headers to straight piple flowmasters on.. the pipe caps what size caps do i need to obtain? is it necessary for me to remove the pump? can i just buy a shorter or in this case i think longer belt
