You should always use new rings.

The JE pistons are a better quality than SRP. They're probably also lighter.

Re: new SRP or USED JE Extreme ?? HELP!

well if u know for sure the used pistons are good and have no crackes they are the stronger of the two,
i would go new i like it shiny and look in to new rings cost. thats another 150$ on top.

ive never seen a srp piston come apart so i have nothing to say bad about them.

Doesn't JE make SRP? They should not be that far apart in quality.

Yes they do but as I already mentioned, the JE pistons are a better quality and are lighter than SRP.

Re: new SRP or USED JE Extreme ?? HELP!

Yes JE makes SRP but pistons under the JE brand are made with better alloy than the SRP's, i was told 12 psi maxs for SRPS and then 20 psi for the JE's

I have a new issue now which i can really need the help https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tech...e-pistons.html

Thanks to everyone
