Right intake, Right Heads...But they dont fit together!?!
Ok i got some 906 casting heads for my 305 tbi motor..got them milled down 30..then i got an edelbrock performer intake for a 99 chevy tahoe 350 to match up (since thats where the heads came from). Put the gaskets on a little while ago and then I just went to put the intake on and its got a good 3/4 of an inch on each side before it even covers the whole head!!! What the hell is going on? And I know the intake should fit because all those performer intakes fit sbc engines in general. Somebody please help

Who told you that manifold is for a 99 Tahoe?
"Fits SBC" applies fine, but you still have to make sure that it matches your heads.
