Repair manual perference.
for an 86 Iroc-Z. I'm looking for one that has good schematics. I have the 86 Camaro shop manual, but I'm looking for something better. I hope there is one.
Thanks

There isn't anything better than the factory service manual.

Which shop manual? Mitchells, Chiltons or the GM one you'd get from Helmsinc.com?
Please don't say it's a Haynes manual.

You've got as good as it gets, you just need the Electrical Diagnosis Supplement

Looks like that's it. I see the number in the lower RH corner. It should have plenty of electrical (and vacuum) diagrams in the back.
Edit: Good call on the supplement.

Re: Repair manual perference.
I'd settle for the electronic supplement. Some idiot is replacing his stock ECM with a BS3 and can't get the fuel pump to prime like it used to. Also, the same idiot may have damaged one of the two prongs on the no oil pressure cut off, but he thinks it should still prime the system regardless if the switch is bad or not. Could he be wrong? If he is, how do you bypass that switch, with a paperclip to test it? (BTW - it does crank.)

Re: Repair manual perference.
The switch is a backup for the fuel pump relay, it's not a "no oil cutoff. In a correctly working car, the switch isn't needed at all.

Sorry it's sideways.
Any way to jump the relay to check it?
