85 2.8 ltr, auto, fuel issues
I have an 85 Firebird, 2.8 ltr, auto, FI, with fuel issues.
Car was running great and I drove home, then next day I went out started it up and it went about 50 feet and died.
I replaced the fuel pump about 5 years ago, but I did not replace the fuel relay or the wiring harness.
Since installing the new pump I haven't driven all that much, maybe a couple thousand miles a year.
When the car stopped, I noticed that the fuel pressure was only at about 10 psi max. I changed the fuel filter but that did not help.
I guess my question would be, is it possible that the fuel relay or the wiring harness would need to be replaced?
I would much rather start at the lowest cost item, but yet I do not want to waste even a few bucks on something that will not help at all.
Any suggestions on what I should do next?
