Valve train questions

Fellas,
we puled the heads off a 92 RS and got a little too motivated; meaning we didn't snap a picture of what seemed straightfoward at the time.

So we're reassembling and we've got oddities...

Sorry for the crap resolution, but we have 8 of the spring retainers which are fairly flat and 8 which are more like a disc..

We're assuming that it's intake and exhaust, but we don't know which is which. There's also a theory that the heads were entirely different, from an old re-build.

Any insight would be appreciated...

The thick ones are the exhaust valve "rotators". They would be stock on a '92.
