You cannot test injector resistance like that. You need to unplug the connector and use your ohm meter to test between the two pins of the injector itself. You should have 14-16 ohms on each good injector. TPIs' use high impedance injectors and the ECM cannot run "low" impedance injectors.

update.... ok so i put new plugs wires rotor an cap in, car will now start an run , butsometimes shuts off randomly,an will sometimes not restart for ten mins or so an idle isnt as smooth as it should be, so idk im lost, then while sitting there ideling it the gauges on half the side when u turn the lights on dont work, an the buzzer sound will not go off, so i pulled fuse for gauges, im so lost with this, i pulled mass air flow sensor an ran worse, im ganna check all injectors 2marow an see if they are in spec, anyone else got any clues about gauges an why its running like this, thank you so much

Injectors or Fuel Pump do what mlynch001 said and test the injectors... I had a similar problem and ended up replacing my fuel pump and injectors..

You may have chassis ground issues. . . make SURE that the wire harness ground to the intake is not rusted or broken. All ground straps in place (back of the heads to the firewall)? is the main battery cable ground tight. Is the body ground in place from the negative terminal to the fender. Are both battery terminals clean and tight? Are all the fuseable links on the starter hooked up and not burned up? Keep in mind, they can fail inside the insulation and still look good on the outside.

Check the fuse box and make sure that all the fuses are good AND that all the fuses have power on both sides when you turn the key to "on". You can check ATC type fuses with a test light by going through the top of the plastic fuse body to contact the small metal tab on either side of the top of the fuse. Look close and you will see what I mean.

You cannot start correcting performance issues until you have a reliable power supply and ground to the chassis.

Re: please help with omh meter on injectors

ok i was just out messing with it, keep in mind my gagues are out now, when car is off not running but key turned to on postion does not do the weird buzz noise when lights are turned on, but as soon as u start car it acts all weird an buzzer wont go off when lights are off.
i tryed to clean contacs on gauges an conectors on car an put gagues in an only left hand side sitting down only work, also car will run good for bit then like u turned key off it shuts off, doesnt really stumble or anythig, would bad fuel injectors cause the car to just shut off? thanks

That buzzer you are hearing is the "headlight on" warning. GM used a buzzer that came on when you turned the ignition off and left the headlights on. It sounds like the ignition switch may not be turning on all the way or have a bad circuit. Works like this, "Lights on" , "key on" NO BUZZER . . . "lights on" and "key off" Buzzer comes on.

The headlight buzzer does not know that the ignition switch is on. Look at the wiring diagram and you should be able to see which circuits are on and off with the key "on". The interconnection with the switch and buzzer should be easy to see. You could have a bad ignition switch or wiring.

Use new o-rings on everything or you run a serious risk of fuel or vacuum leaks. It is a pain, but beats taking it apart three or four times over a few o-rings!

If you can afford to do so, I'd advise getting all new injectors and replacing them all at once. If three of your injectors are failing the others are probably not that far behind. It's also time consuming to replace them. Do it all at once and be done with it.
