Who Makes A Shorter Oil Pan?

My oil pan is about 4 inches off the ground. It has hit the ground and now is cracked and leaking. I need to be able to get more clearance. I would think an inch or two should do it. I thought about lifting the engine up in the mounts, but wondered about getting a shorter pan, seeing as I need a new pan anyways. I understand it would take a new pick up and all, which is fine. I just can't seem to find anything.

Do you know who makes one?

Looking at pictures of the c4 pan, it looks just as big, with a longer sump area. I wouldn't mind the longer sump, just needs to be shorter.

Be careful about longer sumps. I had to pull my new engine right back out after putting it in because the oil pan I bought (trying to save time by not having to clean up and repaint the original) had a longer sump by about an inch, and it got in the way when it was time to install the y pipe.

I had the same problem. My temporary solution was to clearance the pipe with a hammer. I will never use a generic oil pan again.
