L98 oil leaks

Hi Guys
I have a 1992 B4C with L98 and Auto. It has a vortech supercharger and I dont think the engine has ever been out of the car. It has a few oil leaks, most of which I can figure out. BUT - there is one around the back of the engine that seams to leak on part of the exhaust (you can smell it and sometimes even see some puffs of smoke). What are the comman leaks these engines usually have? Could it be the rear main or is likely to be the valley cover. Its not the rocker covers.
Is it easy to change the rear main without pulling the engine? I need to do the timing cover as well so should I just pull it out and do rings and bearings too. The engine still has awesome power and pulling it out just to do a few gaskets seems a waste.

An RMS leak couldn't get to the exhaust. How sure are you that it's not the valve covers?

Re: L98 oil leaks

I am pretty sure. Ive run my fingers around the back of the rocker covers and they dont seem to be leaking there.
