Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.42
Engine is making a taping noise
I started up my camaro 1 day and started hearing a tapping noise in the motor I thought it was my edjustment nuts on the rockers because the noise was eminating from there so i changed them it seemed to solve the problem for a week but the taping came back I got some advice from a friend to put new lifters in because they might be sticking but I dont know what kind of lifters came in my 305 what is your guys thought on the problem and if you think its the lifters to what type of lifters did my car come with flat or rollers

pressed in studs? check if one is not backing out, put a carpenters rule over the studs and check if they are all about equal height
