OK to remove Z28 spring dampner?
Has anyone removed the dampner on typical Z28 springs and run them on L31 Vortec heads?
No fit with the dampner installed due to the OD of the guide boss. Fits great without the dampner but some say its a no no to run the springs without the dampner,could cause the spring to break.
