Cam choice
I originally had intentions on learning to program. I built an engine with HSR and a Comp cams 280 XFI cam. Realizing I was over my head, I went with a Performer RPM and a 750 DP. According to Comp, the Xtreme Energy cams are more "responsive" What does that mean? My set-up is exactly like AFR's 383 Street head build except for the cam. I would like to make 500 HP too. Should I swap the cam to the Xtreme Energy 288? I have also read that XFI cams in carbureted applications can make more HP
