Blown Head Gasket?
I fix a problem and another starts....everytime.
So, I previously had the problem where car would run rought and stall at lights. I had an oil leak as well and while tracing that found out I had blown the rear gasket fromthe intake manifold.
I was always losing coolent as well.
I figued this was also why collent was leaking considering the gasket blew by the water ports. I pull the intake out and replace gaskets, put it together and car runs great except slight hesitation when first getting on gas sometimes. I find out I have a fuel leak from the inlet fitting at the TB. The actual injector pod was crossthreaded. I ordered new fittings and had a extra pod I put on. Problem fixed. I also put a new radiator cap on for the coolent loss, thought it was maybe boiling over now, was still losing coolent...and fast.
Yesterday I fixed the fuel and pulled it out of the garage and I found where the coolent was leaking. It is going through my exhaust. It was leaking by the Y-pipe and by the cat where some crappy welds are located. So I am thinking I have a blown head gasket.
As you can see I have a problem following another. It really bites I have to pull the intake off again after it was just fixed.
Would you guys think it was a blown head gasket?

Re: Blown Head Gasket?
Check your oil, coolant in oil is a great indicator of rather another foul intake manifold leak or head gasket. You can't really narrow it down past that, when you change the head gaskets you are changing the intake manifold gasket anyway.
