Dipstick

Ok. So here's what sounds to be a DUMB question, but here it goes...
Bought this '84 camaro long story short...kicked the 305's a**. Got a 350. Got everything going well dipstick where are you? Nothing have had my dad & uncle look too for an hour. I didn't get the year of the motor, but it is a 350. Any one have any knowledge of where I'd find the internal tube?

Re: Dipstick

IIRC pre-87 it's on the drivers side and post-87 it's passengers side.

Before about 1980 they're on the driver side. Everything after has it on the passenger side.

Re: Dipstick

If it's pre-79 block it's on the driver's side few inches in front of the oil filter and if it's post-79 block it's on the pass side few inches if front of the starter.

Re: Dipstick

Look on the oilpan, it should have a "kickout" under the gasket flange where the dipstick goes.
