350 idle problems

i'm trying to get my small block to start up. the engine has already been tuned on an engine dyno and everything was working perfect.

i took it home and it set on an engine stand for a couple months while i was getting my camaro ready to drop it in. finally dropped it in and everything. started it up the first time and it ran good. then the next day i started it up and it barely held idle. the day after it wouldn't even hold idle and would just back fire.

i finally found that the distributor clamp bolt was loose and the distributor was getting more and more out of tune. so i started over by putting the number one piston 15 degrees before tdc. it fired up nicely but then started to climb in rpm's. so i tried advancing it a little and then it wouldn't start at all.

so today i set it back to 15* and now it won't even start at all.
