if you swap all the brackets and accessories (crank pulley, alt, water pump), everything will work. however, depending on the heads, you may not have provisions for the mounting bolts on the passenger side head. I ran without these bolts in place for a couple years, but someone else may want to chime in about its reliability.

IIRC, the pulley from the 79 pump would be for a v-belt setup, while the pulley from a 92 is a serpentine belt style. The pump should bolt up to the bracket, and the bracket should bolt to the block, but you will need to use the serpentine setup.

I should add that either pulley will fit the pump. They are all the same. Its the brackets and belts that changed over the years.

If you're running v-belts, you'll need the pulley and the brackets. The steering pump should be the same.
The 92 bracket should bolt up to the engine just fine, but I don't think the pulley would line up properly with the crank pulley. You also would have no way to adjust the belt tension or to change the belts without removing the crank or steering pulleys.
