Heater Core help...

Heater Core help...
Just recently got my 89 camaro rs, now that its getting a little cold outside Im ready to use my heat.... 1 problem... Heater core has been disconnected. So i guess my question is where do i route the heater hoses to starting from the heater core???

If they're disconnected, it's almost certainly because the heater core is leaking. If you connect them without replacing it, you'll just dump coolant into your interior.

sounds like a new heater core install in your near future... theres no GOOD reason i can think of to disconnect the H.C. Thread Starter

Yeah i kinda figured that... so i guess i shouldve asked after i install a new heatercore, where do i route the heater hoses?? Thanks for the quick responses i appreciate it

There's no heater hoses under the hood right now? Normallly they're just looped together with an adapter to bypass the core when it leaks.

The right fitting on the heater core has no hose on it, but the left fitting has an upside down T shaped hose on it.... one end of the ''T" hose is connected to the heater core of course and the other 2 ends aren't connected to anything. Not even each other.
